Keyla Sanchez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She learned about the gospel from her Aunt who used to take her to church as a child.Her father migrated to the United States in 1985. She is the fifth of six siblings. In 1990, her father brought them to New York City, and five months after arriving here, she made the best decision of her life, accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

In 2005, she met her beloved husband, Jesús A. Sanchez, in Puerto Plata, and a year later they got married. The Lord has blessed them with two children, Abel and Amber, and a Golden dog.

The Lord allowed them to join Acclivity Church on May 2, 2021. They are more than grateful to God for such a wonderful privilege of belonging to this congregation, one where the Lord has allowed us to continue growing and working for His Kingdom. She is currently a Deaconess and part of the Worship Ministry by the grace of God.
