Stephanie Cruz

Stephanie was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and moved to Queens, New York, at the age of 10. She was raised in a Christian household and was actively involved in her faith during her early years. However, at the age of 16, she drifted away from church and became disconnected from both her faith and her loved ones.

Over the years, she occasionally attended church services but never became part of a congregation, as she struggled to find a place where she truly felt she belonged. In early 2022, at her mother’s insistence, she attended a service at Acclivity Church. Despite feeling broken and unworthy, she encountered God’s presence in a profound way and decided to remain at Acclivity.

Shortly thereafter, Stephanie began serving as an usher and continues to faithfully serve in that ministry today. Like many believers, her journey of faith has included both challenges and victories. Through complete surrender to the Lord, she experienced spiritual transformation and embraced her identity as a new creation in Christ.

Today, Stephanie is committed to serving, praising, and worshiping the Lord in spirit and truth. She is also dedicated to teaching her greatest blessing, which is her son Nathan to surrender his life to God and to give Him all praise, honor, and glory.
